BPBD Warns of Extreme Weather in the Next Few Days

The Jakarta Provincial Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) issued an early warning regarding the potential for moderate to very heavy rainfall, which is predicted to occur on September 11–13, 2025.

This information was issued based on an official report from the Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG), which noted an increase in the potential for extreme weather in the Jakarta area.

Acting Head of Jakarta BPBD, Isnawa Adji appealed to the public to always be alert and increase preparedness to face potential flooding and inundation.

"We remind all residents to be prepare against the impacts of extreme weather. Ensure that drains around our areas are not clogged and continue to follow official government information," he said, Thursday (9/11).

Moreover, Jakarta BPBD also prepares information channel to ease public accessing latest update. The public can access the flood monitoring site at pantaubanjir.jakarta.go.id, water levels update at bpbd.jakarta.go.id/waterlevel, and report potential flooding through the JAKI application.

"Please contact our Jakarta Siaga 112 call center for an emergency situation for getting assistance. We will respond immediately," he stated.
